Trusted Mentors, Inc. Hosts an Evening for Purse Lovers

Bags2Riches Gala is a fundraiser that directly benefits homelessness mentoring programs in Indianapolis through Trusted Mentors Inc. I am happy to help through the creation of this very simple Market Tote featuring Amy Butler fabrics. There may or may not be a very special Crimson Tate Modern {sewn} surprise in the VIP bags as well.
For this fundraiser, area textile artists, quilters, and sewists create unique handbags that are in turn auctioned. It should be a lovely, creative, and inspiring evening. Check out Trusted Mentors Inc. here.

As I am continuing to anticipate new fabrics in store at my new brick and mortar located at 845 Mass Ave, Downtown Indianapolis, I’ve begun planning a big hoopla to celebrate my grand opening. Modern and Lovely Meets Purple
While Pantone deemed Honeysuckle as the color of the year, a vibrant rosy pink, all trends point toward the purple side of that color as a stand alone beauty. There is something about the quietness of pale purple mixed with the vibrancy of fuchsia. There is a beautiful handholding between calm and energetic. A perfect combination for a new baby girl would be the strength and delicacy of the color purple. Deep, insightful, loud, and fun.

In November, the line will be available at Crimson Tate :: Modern Quilter. The list of notifications keeps growing as we begin the countdown ’til we’ve got a lot o’ Lotta. Three months and fifteen days. How will we occupy ourselves until then?

Crimson Tate :: Modern Quilter has become flesh and bones! 845 Massachusetts Avenue in Downtown Indianapolis is my new home and I have a great view of amazing fabrics and amazing friends who have helped materialize this dream.
